This week’s topic is about different Latin and Greek roots that have similar meaning!

SpellPundit students performed really well in junior and senior spelling and vocabulary contests at NSF National Finals in MIT today. For example, all of the top 10 Senior Spelling Bee winners are from SpellPundit! Congratulations!!



Six out of 8 co-champions, 13 out of 16 finalists, 38 out of 50 semi-finalists and 72 out of the top 100 are SpellPundit students.
2017, 2018 and 2019 Scripps National Bee Words and their distribution in SpellPundit modules. On average, about 55% words come from Level 1, 20% words come from Level 2, 20% words come from Level 3, and the remaining 5% words come from other modules. This is real data from the last 3 years, please use this information to prioritize your study effort.
As you can see, every spelling word and all but 2 vocabulary words (out of 14 total words) are located in SpellPundit’s database of words. Both of the vocabulary words worth 3 points are in SpellPundit.
The majority of spelling words asked are from SpellPundit’s Spelling Level 1 module, indicating that this is the most important module to prepare.
